About Boyd

About Boyd Hendriks, creator and developer of TeamTransition.art.

My passion lies with people. My work therefore revolves around coaching, team development and change management. I coach in both Dutch and English with a wide spectrum of subjects. Team development often leads to team transition, an area in which truly satisfying results are achieved and is in itself the core of any organizational development. Since the mid-nineties I have spent many years as an interim and consultant in complex and knowledge-rich organizations, where I feel at home and probably have the most to offer.

Combining art, psychology and philosophy is based on the thinking of John Cage (1912-1992). An important source of inspiration that has been leading in the way in which I have managed to find space in my always busy head for tapping into creative forces and allowing them to flow. John states:

"When you start working, everybody is in your studio - the past, your friends, enemies, the art world and above all, your own ideas - all are there. But as you continue painting, they start leaving, one by one, and your are left completely alone. Then, if you are lucky, even you leave."

My studio became my secret laboratory where ideas were hatched and problems solved.
